Array Design

Controls used

Sample Preparation

  • samples of total RNA or RNA-enriched for the miRNAs are acceptable:
    • start with as low as 250 ng total RNA (standard : 1-2µg)
    • use protocols for isolation of mature miRNAs or small RNA fraction (<200bp)
    • use the >200bp fraction for mRNA profiling of the same sample
    • ship samples to febit on dry ice via express service
    • febit performs miRNA sample labeling with an optimized Genisphere Kit

Sample QC

  • incoming total RNA samples are checked for quality before labeling. Samples failing QC will result in the notification of customer for potential resubmission of sample

Hybridization
